About Tammy

Ms. Maguire joined Marcum in 2021 with more than 20 years’ experience in the accounting field, where half of her time was spent in public accounting and the other half in the private sector in the professional services industry. During her years in professional services, she specialized in analyzing merger candidates and played an integral role in successful business integrations.

This experience, combined with a specialization in improving processes, systems, and workflows in a constantly changing environment, informs her ability to help support Marcum’s continued expansion into new markets and lines of business.

Tammy has a strong track record of building collaborative environments and has managed finance teams through the implementation of new general ledger, payroll, and accounts payable systems. Her strategic thinking has led firms to look at their businesses from new perspectives and to shift focus from historical results to future performance.

Based in Connecticut, Tammy was recognized as CFO of the Year by the Hartford Business Journal in 2016.
