Mitchell Watt is a senior partner in Marcum’s Capital Markets Practice Group. Based in the Firm’s New York City office, he has more than 30 years of professional experience in accounting, tax, and business consulting, working with privately held and publicly traded businesses. Mitchell has extensive experience working with clients in a wide range of industries with a focus on capital markets, technology, biotechnology and pharma, media and software, and private equity.

As a business consultant, Mitchell utilizes his experience assisting clients to more effectively run their business. His significant experience includes managing both domestic and international assurance engagements, providing companies a variety of complex technical accounting and consulting services related to mergers, reverse mergers, initial public offerings, acquisitions, strategic business management, systems and operations, corporate finance, litigation support and other workout situations. Prior to joining Marcum, Mitchell was a Senior Manager at a “Big Four” firm and has held the position of financial controller for a publicly-traded company.
