Marilea Campomizzi is a partner in the Firm’s Assurance Services group and a leader in the firm’s Emerging Companies practice, which focuses on the Technology and Life Science industries. Marilea has over 15 years of experience and supervises audits, reviews, and compilations in various sectors. She provides her clients with strategic, year-round accounting, tax, and business management advisory services. Marilea assists clients with accounting for complex debt and equity transactions, revenue recognition considerations, and adopting the new lease accounting standard ASC 842.

Marilea leads the firm’s relationship with North Coast Ventures, a Cleveland-based capital partner that invests primarily in early-stage B2B SaaS companies. The firm enjoys being on the Innovation Council of North Coast Ventures. She is also a judge for the annual MSPIRE event held by MAGNET, Cleveland’s Manufacturing Advocacy & Growth Network. The MSPIRE event is a pitch competition for manufacturing-focused entrepreneurs. The firm’s local Emerging Companies practice networks with and sponsors events for Ohio Life Sciences, JumpStart, ComeBack Capital, and Bounce Innovation Hub.

Marilea is involved with the growth and development of the firm’s up-and-coming talent. She currently coaches three assurance managers and facilitates the firm’s local Focus Group, which provides suggestions for enhancing the firm.
