About Erin

Erin is a director with the Tax and Business Services Group in the Firm’s San Jose office. She has over 10 years of public accounting experiences assisting multinational corporations, partnerships, and high net worth individuals with domestic and international tax planning and reporting. Her experience includes consulting and compliance related to international tax reform issues stemming from the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act as well as mergers, acquisitions, and liquidations. Erin works extensively with clients on international structuring, foreign tax credit limitation analysis and planning, FDII analysis, Subpart F planning, GILTI and BEAT mitigation, PFIC analysis and  tax modeling. She also provides inbound clients with guidance relating to effectively connected income, FDAP income, withholding taxes, branch profit tax, FIRPTA, and tax structuring strategies.

Prior to joining Marcum, Erin worked in private industry and within the international tax department of a “Big Four” accounting firm. She is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of California.
