Lilibeth Salcedo is an assurance director at Marcum with more than 20 years of experience in public accounting, specializing in nonprofits and employee benefit plans.

She is also experienced in auditing HUD and RD projects and for-profit entities. Lilibeth oversees financial audits, reviews, and compilations, and ensures that quality client service is provided in a timely, responsive, and efficient manner. Lilibeth provides guidance to her clients in implementing new accounting standards and helps them navigate the complexities of the nonprofit industry. In addition to her extensive knowledge of financial audits, she also prepares and reviews Form 990 and 5500.

Lilibeth previously worked as an audit director at a national firm, where she managed attest and non-attest engagements in a variety of industries including nonprofit, employee benefit plans, healthcare, and for-profit entities. She was also a co-leader of the firm’s Women’s Initiative and was active in marketing efforts and business development to grow the firm’s audit presence in the Greater Washington area.

She started her career in the Philippines before moving to Maryland to work with a local U.S. accounting firm.
