About Janina

Janina is a director with the Tax department in the Firm’s San Jose office. She has over 18 years of public accounting experience and 10 years of private industry experience focusing on taxation of closely held businesses, high net income individuals and nonprofit organizations. The various industries she has worked with include real estate, manufacturing, and asset management. Janina assists her client with tax planning, property transactions, business consulting and multi-state compliance.

Prior to joining Marcum, Janina has been with firms ranging from small local practices, regional to large international accounting firms. She has also worked with a private asset management company and private REIT group. She is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in California and has also attained her Master of Science in Taxation.
