Husnain Siraj is a partner in the Assurance Services Group of the Firm’s Houston, Texas office. He is also the healthcare leader for the Texas and New York metro regions. He brings more than 14 years of auditing experience to his clients. Husnain is a skilled professional with extensive global experience and has served publicly and privately held companies in multiple world regions, including North America, Qatar, Karachi, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi. This exposure to a broad spectrum of clients, with a variety of work experiences, has provided Husnain with an in-depth understanding of key business processes, including risk management, accounting, internal control, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance, which allows him to offer solutions that support his clients’ diverse needs.

Husnain has served U.S. public registrants, international reporting entities, and privately held companies in various industries, including oil & gas, energy, construction, healthcare, manufacturing (industrial and consumer), professional services, food and beverage, shipping, transportation, and pharmaceuticals.

Husnain is well-versed in SEC reporting requirements, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and S-1 registration statements. He is knowledgeable in U.S. GAAP, GAAS, and IFRS. Before joining Marcum, Husnain was a senior manager with a “Big Four” accounting firm. He is fluent in English, Hindi, Urdu, Sindhi, and Memoni.
