About Hemal
Hemal Shah is a director in Marcum’s Real Estate Group. Mr. Shah has more than 15 years of public accounting experience providing attestation services to clients accross all asset classes with a focus on private equity funds that report under the Investment Company Guide. In addition to attestation engagements, Mr. Shah has also worked on due diligence, personal financial statements and agreed upon procedures engagements.
Prior to joining Marcum, Mr. Shah worked at Cornerstone Accounting Group based in New York.
Mr. Shah is a Certified Public Accountant and a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the AICPA and the CFA Institute and received a Bachelor’s of Commerce from Mumbai University, India.
