Gary Rose is partner-in-charge of the Illinois Tax & Business Services Department. Gary specializes in all aspects of taxation, including business and individual income tax, estate and gift tax, and sales and use taxes. As tax considerations are often primary elements of corporate restructuring, he has been involved in numerous mergers and acquisitions and restructuring of existing entities. He has also lectured frequently on new tax laws and estate tax planning topics for financial institutions and civic groups, has authored several articles, and has been a featured guest on local radio and cable television programs.

Gary regularly consults with clients in the real estate, healthcare and other professional services industries. Creative and pragmatic, he helps businesses and individuals achieve their economic and financial goals, within the constraints of the tax laws. As U.S. companies expand their presence and involvement overseas, and international businesses acquire U.S. entities, he provides tax advice to companies on a global scale.
