About Carly

Carly Podor is a director in the assurance services division of Marcum, with approximately thirteen years of experience in public accounting. Her experience is primarily in auditing commercial businesses, with a specialization in publicly traded companies. Her experience extends into the manufacturing and distribution sectors, with a focus on inventory valuation and the cannabis industry.

Carly is involved in all phases of the audit process, from planning and initial risk assessment to the preparation and review of financial statements. She is client service driven and is always willing to assist clients with accounting, auditing, financial reporting issues, and implementation of new accounting pronouncements.

Carly has been an instructor for the Assurance department’s inventory and new hire trainings. She has significant experience in performing audits in accordance with PCAOB standards.

Additionally, she serves as a member on the client experience committee for the firm.
