Brent Piper is a partner in Marcum’s Tax & Business Services division. He has more than 13 years of experience providing estate, individual, business, and fiduciary tax returns; directing complex engagements involving tax, business valuations, and litigation support; and managing people and processes to ensure effective client engagements.

Brent is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA), and the DC/Maryland Chapter of the Commercial Real Estate Development Association (NAIOP). He is Accredited in Business Valuation by the AICPA.

Previously, Brent was a director at E. Cohen and Company, CPAs, an award-winning, nationally ranked CPA firm, which merged into Marcum in 2022.
