About Angela

Angela Spaugh is an audit director with the Firm’s Real Estate Assurance Group. She joined the Firm in 2022 with more than 20 years of experience in the real estate, construction, manufacturing, distribution, and service industries. Angela also has more than 10 years of experience providing HUD audits and other attest, audit, and consulting services on projects involving low-income housing tax credits and historic tax credits, including cost certification and compliance procedures.

She routinely provides assurance, advisory, and consulting services to clients in the real estate industry, with a focus on serving privately held companies. Angela utilizes her experience and industry knowledge to assist client organizations with timely compliance and reporting to meet their business goals.

Angela mentors junior colleagues and contributes to the success of the Firm’s retention and employee satisfaction strategies by providing training and feedback to help staff develop crucial skills. She helps her engagement teams integrate the Firm’s technologies and client service philosophy to improve their efficiency and capabilities.
